Hello,
My name is Shanel Lightfoot-Brown, and I am currently a 5th grade teacher at Englewood Elementary. My favorite hobbies are exercising and rock collecting. I recently competed in a bodybuilding competition and won first place! My favorite subject is science (particularly astronomy). I find that it would be very difficult to teach astronomy without the use of the technology in my classroom. With my Elmo, projector, and Internet in the classroom, I am able to bring the universe to my students.
I plan to use my future masters degree from UWA in becoming a fantastic science teacher at the secondary level.
