Figure 6.5 offers a digital 3D description of the planet earth. This Geospatial Technology gives the teacher the ability to take the students on a virtual fieldtrip around the earth. You can type in any address and see that location in real time. I would use this software to enhance my students’ knowledge in geographical landforms. I would give them a blank map of a certain region and they would have to log on this website (google earth) software and draw in the missing parts of that region. They would also have to make a prognostication about what that land form may look like millions of years from now.
Lastly, I have developed a classroom blog for my students to review homework, vote on polls related current academic concepts, and provide other links that can be helpful for extending their knowledge.
